摘要

Abstract

The article is designed to investigate the influences of the extracts of Siraitia grosvenorii,Illicium verum,Cinnamomum cassia,and Sophora tonkinensis on the antioxidant capacity and immune function of mice.Fifty adult mice with similar body weights were randomly divided into five groups,each consisting of ten mice with an equal number of males and females.The blank control group was fed with the basal diet;the experimental groups were respectively supplemented with 100 mg/kg of the extracts of Siraitia grosvenorii,Illicium verum,Cinnamomum cassia,and Sophora tonkinensis in the basal diet.On the 28th day of the experiment,the contents of serum superoxide dismutase(SOD),glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px),peroxidase(POD),immunoglobulin M(IgM),immunoglobulin A(IgA),and immunoglobulin G(IgG)in each group of mice were determined.The results indicated that the extract of Illicium verum could significantly enhance the content of serum IgM in mice(P<0.05),and the extract of Cinnamomum cassia could significantly increase the contents of serum SOD and GSH-Px in mice(P<0.05).
