Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the effect of standardized airway management program on clinical outcomes in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods:A total of 85 COPD patients admitted to the First People's Hospital of Baiyin from January 2022 to July 2024 were selected as research objects and randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group.The experimental group,with 43 cases,received standardized airway management program,and the control group,with 42 cases,received routine nursing measures.The improvement of hospital stay,readmission rate and respiratory function index were compared between the two groups,and the effect of the standardized program was evaluated.Results:The average hospital stay in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The readmission rate was 12%in the experimental group and 28%in the control group(P<0.05).In the respiratory function test,the FEV1/FVC ratio increased from 46%to 56%in the experimental group,but it only increased from 45%to 48%in the control group.Conclusion:The standardized airway management program can effectively shorten the hospital stay of COPD patients,reduce the readmission rate,and improve respiratory function,which is worthy of further promotion in clinical practice.关键词
