Abstract
Along with rapid advance of medical technology,robotic surgery is gradually being adopted by various surgical disciplines.In the field of otology,robotic approach has also been attempted in cochlear implantation(CI).The authors recently completed a CI case,in which the OTOARM and OTODRIVE system was used to place the electrodes.The advantages of insertion at a slow and steady pace by the system were believed to have improved surgical outcomes.In this paper,this case is reviewed and the value and future of robotic approach in the field of cochlear implantation are discussed.关键词
