Elements and cultivation of international communication competence for traditional Chinese medicine translator
摘要
Abstract
Enhancing the international communication competence of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)translator has significant value for effective and precise communication of TCM culture.This article examines the current state,challenges,and needs associated with the international communication of TCM and proposes that the international communication competencies for TCM translator should include political qualities,comprehensive TCM knowledge system,and precise translation and communication skills.Based on the specific needs for talents in the international translation and dissemination of TCM,it is proposed that the cultivation of international communication competence among TCM translation professionals should be adjusted in an all-round manner,including training philosophy,teaching methods,and faculty development.These include breaking down disciplinary barriers to develop a multi-dimensional curriculum,employing student-centered teaching methods to enhance precise translation and communication abilities,strengthening the development of a diverse faculty and collaborative education,and creating a practice-oriented training model.The goal is to cultivate TCM translators with international communication competence and perspectives who can effectively convey TCM culture globally.关键词
