摘要

Abstract

Application of comprehensive geophysical methods in detecting dam leakages can effectively improve the reliability and accuracy.Three geophysical methods,namely mise-a-la-masse,microtremor,and transient electromagnetic methods,were used in locating the dam leakages of a tailings pond in Anhui,of which microtremor detection is an emerging geophysical method.Through comparison of interpretation results of the various geophysical methods,the advantages and disadvantages of each method were studied.With hydrogeological conditions being taken into consideration,the location and distribution of leakage channels were accurately identified,which provided technical support for later curtain grouting,and expected results were achieved after treatment.
