底栖性鱼类对沉水植物生长和水质的影响
Effects of benthivorous fish on the growth of submerged plant and water quality

Abstract
[Objective]This study aimed to evaluate the effects of benthic fish Cyprinus carpio on the growth of submerged plants Vallisneria natans and water quality.[Method]A pilot-scale experiment was conducted from May to July 2022 at the meteorological observation site of Anhui Agricultural University.The experimental system dominated by submerged plant Vallisneria natans,was established with two treatments in mesocosms:one containing Cyprinus carpio(treatment group)and a fish-free control.Indicators of water quality and growth parameters of submerged plant were measured.[Result]The C.carpio increased nutrient in the water column,including total nitrogen(TN),total phosphorus(TP),and total dissolved phosphorus(TDP)by 35.4%,25.9%,and 46.7%,respectively.Additionally,the biomass of planktonic and attached algae were increased by 15.2%and 28.4%.And the total suspended solids and light attenuation coefficient(Kd)were increased by 83.3%and 63.5%,respectively,while water transparency reducing(SD).Compared to the control group,the height of V.natans were increased by 30%in the carp group,but the RGR,biomass and ramet number,as well as the root length and root:shoot ratio were decreased.[Conclusion]The activities of benthic fish can influence the growth environment and conditions of submerged plants to a certain extent.The find-ings of this study provide a reference for aquatic ecosystem management,especially for the control of benthivorous fish.关键词
