Abstract

To understand the quality of main varieties in Chenzhou base unit of Anhui China Tobacco Industrial Co.,Ltd.,a regional compara-tive experiment of varieties was carried in Heping Town of Guiyang County of Chenzhou City in 2023.The results showed the growth period of Xiangyan 7 and Xiangyan 6 was 11 days and 8 days respectively longer than that of Yunyan 87.Xiangyan 7 showed the best growth in the field,compared with Yunyan 87,the height was 9.95%higher,the effective leaves was 18.80%more,the stem circumference was 6.24%thicker,the pitch was 13.79%longer.Xiangyan 6's stem circumference was 8.42%thicker than Yunyan 87,Yunyan 116 leaf width was 15.90%wider than Yunyan 87.Xiangyan 7's economic traits also performed the best,compared with Yunyan 87,the average price,the yield,the output value and the superior leaves was 3.71%,4.62%,8.52%and 6.08%higher respectively.Xiangyan 6 and Yunyan 116's economic traits were somewhat better than Yunyan 87.The appearances of the middle and lower parts of Xiangyan 7,Xiangyan 6,and Yunyan 116 were worse than Yunyan 87,but the appearances of the upper leaves were contrary,and some disparity in overall chemical composition's coordination and sen-sory quality compared to Yunyan 87.Xiangyan 7 performed slightly better than Xiangyan 6 and Yunyan 116.
