The Generation and Evolution of Material Morphological Elements of the Traditional Villages Based on Kang Ze's Morphology:A Case of Daliang Village in Guangzhou

Abstract
The physical spatial form of traditional villages is the product of both natural and social factors,reflecting historical continuity and local cultural characteristics.Guangzhou is an important transportation hub of the ancient Maritime Silk Road,and the morphological development of the traditional villages in Guangzhou is closely related to the water system.This paper first selects nine traditional Chinese villages in Guangzhou to analyze the spatial distribution characteristics of traditional villages influenced by the ancient Maritime Silk Road in Guangzhou.Then,it chooses a famous historical and cultural village,Daliang Village,as the research object,and based on Kang Ze's urban morphology,studies the main morphological elements of the village.The role of the water system morphology in the development of the form is analyzed,and the interactive relationship between material and non-material elements is studied in depth against the backdrop of the ancient Maritime Silk Road culture,providing a reference for the protection of traditional villages.关键词
