Study on the Influence of Vitruvius'the Ten Books on Architecture on the Development of Columns
摘要
Abstract
The classical columnar style is one of the most important parts of the history of western architectural theory,and first proposed by Vitruvius.The Ten Books on Architecture,as the earliest known text of the history of architectural theory,was used by various scholars of architectural theory during the Renaissance as a basis for their own theories.Through the theoretical innovation and interpretation of different architects in various periods,such as Alberti,Serio,Palladio and Scamozzi,the classical column theory showed a blossoming trend.This paper attempts to elaborate on some of column theories during the Renaissance period,aiming to analyze the evolution of the western classical column theories during this period.关键词
