Experimental study on vibration characteristics of ballasted tracks with composite sleepers

Abstract
Composite sleeper is a commonly used structure for reducing ballast track vibration.In order to study the vibration transmission and attenuation characteristics of ballast track after laying composite sleeper and the vibration damping effect relative to ordinary concrete sleeper,the ballast track laying composite sleeper and laying ordinary concrete sleeper footage control test model was established.Impact loads of different intensities were provided by an indoor drop hammer testing machine and applied to the rails of different test models to simulate the impact effects on the structure during train operation.The vibration acceleration data of different positions and depths of the structure under impact loads were collected under different working conditions.The data were analyzed from both time and frequency domains to explore the differences in dynamic performance between composite and concrete sleepers.The results of the experimental study are drawn as follows.Relative to concrete sleeper,composite sleeper can play a good buffer role,significantly reduce the ballast vibration peak,reduce the ballast impact.Ballast track laying composite sleeper is conducive to vibration attenuation along the vertical,not conducive to attenuation along the longitudinal direction.Paving composite sleeper,the vibration of the roadbed and the ground attenuation of the length of the significant prolongation.Paving composite sleeper can be more significant to reduce the vibration of the ballast and the ground,the rails and sleeper bear the main high-frequency vibration energy,composite sleeper vibration attenuation effect is better,but the vibration attenuation effect at 40~50 Hz band is worse.When laying composite sleeper,the Z vibration level insertion loss at the ground can be up to 3.339 dB.The laying of composite sleeper can reduce the ballast and the ground's vertical vibration intensity at the same time.It can improve the vibration intensity of the sleeper.The test results can provide reference for the design,construction,maintenance and optimization of composite sleepers laid on ballasted track sections.关键词
