Abstract
This experiment aimed to investigate the effects of replacing feed antibiotics with a compound preparation of tributyrin and tannin on the production performance of broilers.A total of 264 AA broilers were randomly divided into 3 treatment groups,with 8 replicates per group and 11 broilers per replicate.The negative control group was fed a basal diet;the positive control group was fed a basal diet with 150 mg/kg chlortetracycline;and the test group was fed a basal diet with 1 000 g/t of a compound preparation of tribu-tyrin and tannin.The trial period was 42 days,divided into four stages:1-10 days,11-24 days,25-34 days,and 35-42 days.The re-sults showed that during the first phase(1-10 days),total weight gain,average daily gain,and total feed intake were highest in the pos-itive control group,followed by the test group,and then the negative control group,though the differences among the three groups were not significant(P>0.05).In terms of the feed conversion ratio(FCR),the test group was slightly higher than the other two groups,but the difference was also not significant(P>0.05).During the second phase(11-24 days),the growth rate of broilers in the test group acceler-ated,and both total weight gain and average daily gain were slightly higher than those in the positive control group,with a slight im-provement in FCR as well,although the differences remained non-significant(P>0.05).In the third phase(25-34 days),the growth ad-vantage of the test group further expanded,with the highest total weight gain and average daily gain among the three groups and the lowest FCR,but the differences were still not significant(P>0.05).In the fourth phase(35-42 days),the test group maintained its growth-promoting advantage,with the highest total weight gain and average daily gain,and the lowest FCR,though the differences were still not significant(P>0.05).Overall,across the entire trial period(1-42 days),the total weight gain,average daily gain,and Euro-pean Performance Efficiency Index(EPEI)of the test group were the highest,but the differences among the three groups were not sig-nificant(P>0.05).However,the FCR of the test group was the lowest,and the difference was significant compared to the positive control group(P<0.05).These results indicate that the addition of a compound preparation of tributyrin and tannin to the diet can improve the productive performance of broilers,enhance feed conversion,improve FCR,and promote growth more effectively than antibiotics.关键词
