Abstract
This paper summarized the experience of Professor Liu Jingxia in treating chronic renal failure.The author was fortunate to learn from Professor Liu to sort out clinical medical cases.Professor Liu Jingxia believes that the pathogenesis of chronic renal failure is characterized by deficiency of the spleen and kidney yang as the root cause,and dampness,blood stasis,turbidness and toxin as the secondary manifestations.Professor Liu is proficient in treating this disease from the perspective of the spleen and kidney,warming and tonifying the spleen and kidney,and removing dampness and resolving turbidness.In clinical practice,it is necessary to distinguish between exterior and interior syndromes,clarify the deficiency and excess conditions,balance the relationship between pathogenic factors and healthy qi,distinguish different stages for treatment,and prescribe medications according to syndrome differentiation.During the stage with concurrent exterior syndromes,the treatment is to relieve the exterior,dispel cold and resolve dampness.The prescriptions used are Zaizao powder combined with Mahuang Fuzi Xixin decoction.During the stage without concurrent exterior syndromes,the treatment mainly focuses on warming the kidney and invigorating the spleen,resolving dampness and reducing turbidness.The prescriptions used are modified Buzhong Yiqi decoction combined with Linggui Zhugan decoction and Yougui pill.In formulating the prescriptions,herbs such as Radix Astragali seu Hedysari and Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae,Fructus Rosae Laevigatae,Semen Euryales,Poria,Alisma plantago-aquatica Linn.,Ramulus Cinnamomi,Cortex Eucommiae,Semen Cuscutae,Cornus officinalis Sieb.et Zucc.are skillfully used.These prescriptions have significant effect on reducing serum creatinine,retaining urinary protein,and alleviating clinical symptoms in patients with chronic renal failure.Moreover,they can block and delay the progression of the disease,providing valuable references.关键词
