Design and Implementation of a Radar Intermediate Frequency Pulse Signal Generation Platform

Abstract
In order to solve the contradiction of more personnel and less equipment in the measurement and training of radar equipment performance parameters,as well as the fact that radar units often need to undertake combat readiness duty tasks and can-not free up idle equipment for training.This paper adopts the architecture of upper computer+microcontroller+direct digital frequen-cy synthesis(DDS)module+power control module to develop a radar intermediate frequency pulse signal generation platform.The upper computerof the platform controls two microcontrollers through serial communication.One microcontroller controls the DDS module to generate analog radar intermediate frequency pulse signals,with flexible and variable parameters such as center frequen-cy,repetition rate,pulse width,and bandwidth.Another microcontroller controls the power module and controls the power of the output signal.The amplified signal is then passed through a power divider,one for detection and the other for output.The platform generates a variety of radar intermediate frequency pulse signals with stable performance.The upper computer interface is friendly,beautiful,and easy to operate,making it very easy to train and use,and has certain promotional value.关键词
