摘要

Abstract

Aiming at the difficult problem of water level correction for hydrographic surveying in global sea area,the accuracy of six major international tidal models,including DTU23,FES2014,EOT20,TPXO9,GOT4.8 and HAMTIDE11a,was evaluated in different sea areas around the world.Accordingly,each tidal constituent was optimized and fused to generate a new model with a spatial resolution of 1/32°.After comparing with the sea level observation data of 1 month at 152 tide gauges in the Pacific,118 in the Atlantic,54 in the Indian Ocean and 16 in the Antarctic,this new model's mean square error was 21.4,15.1,23.9 and 11.7 cm respectively.The spatial resolution and accuracy of astronomical tide predictions of the new model are better than those of the existing global models.At the same time,it is pointed out that the next step is to construct models of tide constituents,such as Sa and Ssa,in global ocean regions for better adaptation to depth datum calculations and astronomical tide predictions on a global scale.
