Abstract
To achieve high-resolution representation and accurate reconstruction of seafloor topography,this paper proposes an innovative terrain inversion method for side-scan sonar images,which utilizes constraints from single-beam bathymetric data to realize high-resolution seabed terrain reconstruction.Initially,a preliminary seabed terrain model is constructed using sparse single-beam bathymetric data.Then,based on the seafloor reflection model,an iterative optimization algorithm is employed to achieve high-resolution seabed terrain inversion.Experimental results show that this method not only significantly enhances terrain resolution(by 60 times)but also ensures high accuracy in terrain inversion(with an error of less than 15 centimeters).This research not only provides a new approach for acquiring seafloor topography but also opens up new field for the application of side-scan sonar technology.关键词
