Research on Performance Simulation of LoRaWAN Wireless Network

Abstract
As the LoRaWAN network is deployed on a large scale,it is crucial to better understand LoRaWAN and provide a reference for network deployment.In order to analyze the capacity,throughput and performance of LoRaWAN,this paper uses the LoRa error model combined with the LoRaWAN MAC protocol in the NS-3 module to study multi-channel and multi-expansion with thousands of terminal devices,frequency factor,multi-gateway,two-way LoRaWAN network.Using LoRaWAN NS-3 mod-ule,the meter reading of LoRaWAN in the building is simulated,which shows that LoRa signal has good penetration performance,can penetrate up to 10 floors,LoRaWAN scalability analysis shows that the increase of terminal equipment significantly affects net-work throughput and the ratio of successful transmission of upstream and downstream packets,increasing the density of the gateway can improve but not eliminate this effect,because the increase in the number of terminals causes network congestion and the net-work's own duty cycle limit to suppress uplink and downlink data transmission,network parameters are also important.关键词
