The Takeover and Remolding of the Journalism after the Liberation of Nanjing
摘要
Abstract
In 1949,how to handle the old news agencies and their editors and reporters in the liberated cities became a complex and important issue for the new regime with the progress of the People's Liberation War.After the liberation of Nanjing,the Communist Party of China took over and transformed all the news agencies and their personnel.Some of the agencies that did not meet the requirements of the new government were abolished and the new party newspapers and periodicals as well as regulations were established,thus a primitive centralized and unified news propaganda system being created and the dominance of the Communist Party of China in ideology being established.Such dominance laid the ideological and public opinion foundation for the social transformation and urban changes after taking over the city.The takeover and transformation of the news agencies in Nanjing was not only an important part of the CPC's cultural governance but also a microcosm of how the new regime guided the direction of the city's journalism and constructed the new democratic culture.关键词
