摘要

Abstract

Ultra-high speed grinding(UHSG)is an emerging technology that can enhance both machining efficiency and workpiece quality.UHSG technology is not widely adopted in the industrial sector,due to the primary reason being the lack of mature equipment and processes for ultra-high speed grinding.UHSG imposes higher requirements on the performance and manufacturing processes of grinding wheels.In response to these challenges,research aimed at improving the performance of ultra-high speed grinding wheels focuses primarily on material design and structural optimization.A comprehensive overview of the current research and application status of ultra-high speed grinding wheels is provided,qualitatively discussing the technical requirements of UHSG for grinding wheels and the existing issues in current processes.The discussion is conducted in two parts:an iterative process and evaluation indicators for the production of ultra high speed grinding wheels are proposed,and the future research directions for grinding wheels used in ultra high speed grinding are indicated.
