摘要

Abstract

As a commonly used high-pressure liquid conveying mechanical structure,the packing material of the plunger pump is easily damaged during high-speed reciprocating operation,which greatly reduces the service life and work efficiency of the plunger pump.Therefore,a study is conducted on the influence of different packing materials on the sealing performance of plungers.Axial displacement tests are carried out on seven selected packing materials using experimental fixtures.The corresponding contact stress variation curves with displacement and the leakage rate of the test device are obtained through the experimental tests.Combined with the comparative analysis of the differences in the characteristics of the loading and unloading process curves,it is finally concluded that high water-based,aramid,aramid tetrafluoroethylene,and tetrafluoroethylene packing materials have better sealing performance for plungers compared to other packing materials.However,the specific working pressure and leakage level should also be considered when selecting them in practice.
