A Study on the Re-engineering of College Library Space Based on User Demand Drive

Abstract
With the rapid development of information technology,the utilization of space in university libraries is undergoing profound changes.Library users'demands are becoming increasingly personalized and diversified,and the traditional collection-centered functions can no longer meet us-ers'new needs,so space reengineering has become a crucial approach in the transformation of library services.This study explores the space reengi-neering strategy of university libraries based on the user demand-driven perspective,aiming to improve the utilization rate of library space and user satisfaction by optimizing the space function setting,layout design and interdisciplinary cooperation mode.After describing the theoretical basis of space reengineering,the user demand-driven library space function setting,layout strategy,and evaluation mechanism are analyzed in detail,and its significance for other institutions is explored in the context of a case study of library space reengineering in Mudanjiang Teachers'College.关键词
