The Spatial and Temporal Pattern and Influencing Factors of Digital Economy Development in Guangdong Province

Abstract
To explore the spatial and temporal pattern of the development level of digital economy in Guangdong Province and the path of regional coordinated development,based on the measurement of the development level of digital economy in 21 prefecture-level cities in Guangdong Province from 2011 to 2020,nuclear density estimation,Dagum Gini coefficient and Moran's I index were used as the main tools to present its temporal and spatial characteristics.Spatial variables are introduced to verify the factors affecting the development level of digital economy in Guangdong Province.The research finds that,from the perspective of temporal and spatial characteristics,the development level of digital economy in 21 prefecture-level cities in Guangdong Province has shown an upward trend in recent years,but there are obvious differentiation characteristics,and the phenomenon of"digital divide"between regions is serious,showing a decreasing feature from the Pearl River Delta region to the non-Pearl River Delta region.In terms of influencing factors,population,government support and foreign exchanges are the main factors affecting the development of digital economy in Guangdong Province.However,after the introduction of spatial factors,the effect of population variable on the construction of digital economy in Guangdong Province is no longer obvious.Finally,based on the above research conclusions,relevant optimization suggestions are put forward to promote the coordinated development of digital economy in Guangdong Province.关键词
