Abstract

In response to the uncertainty of reservoir dam leakage detection in sandstone area,a dam leakage detection meth-od based on quasi-Newton optimization nonlinear least square method is proposed.Firstly,the high-density electrical method(ERT)is used to detect the leakage of the reservoir dam in the sandstone area,and the quasi-Newton optimization nonlinear least square method(QNON)is introduced to interpret the ERT results.Then,the drilling method(BH)and water injection test(WJT)are used to compare and analyze the engineering geology.The results show that the ERT based on the quasi-New-ton nonlinear optimization least square method is sensitive to the leakage detection of the earth-rock dam,and five low-resist-ance abnormal areas are found in the earth-rock dam.The high-density electrical detection after QNON optimization has higher resolution and finer inversion results,which can more effectively delineate the leakage location of earth-rock dams.Through the verification of BH and WJT,the interpretation results of high-density electrical method are determined,and the leakage location and characteristics of reservoir dam are accurately determined.This method detects the leakage point well and points out the spatial distribution position of the anti-seepage curtain grouting of the reservoir dam,which can provide reference value for the anti-seepage project of the reservoir dam.
