Prestress simulation analysis and temperature control optimization of galfenol transducer

Abstract
In order to further improve the performance of Galfenol magnetostrictive transducers affected by prestress and tem-perature rise,this paper employs theoretical analysis combined with COMSOL software for coupled simulation.The study in-vestigates the static and dynamic strain characteristics of the transducers under various prestress conditions and models the impact of temperature rise on the Galfenol rod during operation.The results indicate that prestress within the range of 8-10 MPa significantly enhances the saturation magnetostrictive strain.Furthermore,a 15 mm diameter condenser tube was uti-lized,through which a glycol coolant was circulated at a flow rate of 0.01 m/s for temperature control,effectively suppress-ing the temperature rise during operation.This research provides a theoretical basis and reference for the design of Galfenol transducers,particularly in the application of prestress and temperature rise mitigation.关键词
