Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of early skull repair surgery after bone flap decompression in patients with brain injury.Methods:A total of 80 patients with traumatic brain injury admitted to Shanxian Hygeia Hospital from April 2022 to February 2024 were selected as research objects,and were divided into a control group and a study group with 40 cases in each group by random number table method.Both groups had completed decompression of bone plate in our hospital.The control group underwent later skull repair surgery 6 months after cranioplasty,and the study group underwent early skull repair surgery 2 to 3 months after cranioplasty.Both groups had completed decompression of bone plate in our hospital.The excellent and good rate of consciousness recovery,the incidence of complications,the effect of prognosis,the recovery and the level of inflammatory factors were compared between the two groups.Results:The excellent and good rate of consciousness recovery in the study group was 95.00%,which was higher than 80.00%in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The complication rate of the study group was 7.50%,which was lower than 25.00%of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The excellent and good prognosis rate of the study group was 95.00%,which was higher than 77.50%of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).One month after surgery,the scores of the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale in both groups were lower than before surgery,and those in the study group were lower than those in the control group.The scores of Barthel Index,Fugl-Meyer Motor Assessment Scale and Mini-Mental State Examination in both groups were higher than before surgery,and those in the study group were higher than those in the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).One month after surgery,the levels of C-reactive protein,procalcitonin and white blood cells in 2 groups were lower than before surgery,and those in the study group was lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Early skull repair surgery after bone flap decompression can better improve the inflammatory state of consciousness recovery,and then improve the prognosis and reduce the incidence of complications.关键词
