睑板腺功能障碍患者眼表疾病指数量表评分与临床体征的相关性分析
Correlation between ocular surface disease index score and clinical signs in patients with meibomian gland dysfunction

Abstract
Objective To explore the relationships between the Ocular Surface Disease Index(OSDI)score for sub-jective symptom and clinical signs in patients with meibomian gland dysfunction(MGD).Methods Forty-two patients(84 eyes)with MGD were selected.All patients underwent the OSDI questionnaire survey(including three sections:ocu-lar symptoms,visual function,and environmental triggering factors),and meanwhile,we examined the clinical signs[meibomian gland secretion excretion capability score,meibomian gland secretion quality score,meibomian gland loss score,tear film breakup time(BUT)measurement,corneal fluorescein staining(FL)score],and analyzed the correlation among these indicators.Results Among 84 eyes of MGD patients,the score of OSDI questionnaire was(35.86±10.48),the score of ocular symptom was[6.00(4.00,8.00)],the score of visual function was[4.00(2.00,6.00)],the score of environmental triggering factor was[4.00(3.00,6.00)],the score of meibomian gland secretion excretion ca-pability was 11.17±2.75,the score of meibomian gland secretion quality was 2.57±1.10,and the score of meibomian gland loss was 2.52±0.94,BUT was(6.62±4.31)s,the score of FL was[0.00(0.00,2.00)].The OSDI score of MGD patients(84 eyes)was positively correlated with meibomian gland secretion excretion capability score and FL score(r=0.278 and 0.305,both P<0.05);OSDI score was negatively correlated with BUT(r=-0.237,P<0.05).The ocular symptom score was not correlated with meibomian gland secretion excretion capability score,meibomian gland secretion quality score,meibomian gland loss score,BUT or FL score(all P>0.05).Visual function score was positively correlated with meibomian gland secretion excretion capability score and FL score(r=0.217 and 0.230,both P<0.05).Environmen-tal triggering factor score was positively correlated with meibomian gland secretion excretion capability score(r=0.228,P<0.05),and was negatively correlated with BUT(r=-0.253,P<0.05).Conclusions In the process of diagnosis and treat-ment of MGD,combined with the total OSDI score and each nodal score and the comprehensive assessment of objective clin-ical signs such as meibomian gland function,tear film stability and corneal health,the severity of symptoms and pathophysi-ological changes of patients can be more accurately reflected.It is beneficial to early diagnosis and treatment.关键词
