Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of Budesonide and Formoterol combined with Tiotropium Bromide in the treatment of elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)and respiratory failure(RF).Methods:A total of 80 elderly patients with COPD and RF admitted to Yutai County People's Hospital from August 2022 to July 2023 were selected as the study objects,and were divided into a control group and a study group by random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.The control group was treated with mechanical ventilation and Tiotropium Bromide,and the study group was treated with Budesonide and Formoterol on the basis of the control group.Both groups were treated for 7 days.The clinical efficacy,lung function,arterial blood gas indexes,inflammatory factor levels and the occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of the study group was 97.50%,which was higher than 75.00%in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the first second forced expiratory volume and forced vital capacity of the study group were higher than those of the control group,and the peak expiratory flow was faster than that of the control group.the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the partial pressure of arterial blood oxygen in the study group was higher than that in the control group,and the partial pressure of arterial carbon dioxide was lower than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of interleukin-6,immunoglobulin E and intercellular cell adhesion molecule-1 in the study group were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was 12.50%,compared with 7.50%in the control group,the difference was no statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:For elderly patients with COPD and RF,the treatment of Budesonide and Formoterol Combined with Tiotropium Bromide can effectively improve lung function indexes and blood gas indexes,reduce the level of inflammatory factors,and have less adverse reactions and high safety.关键词
