复合加固方形木柱的抗震性能试验研究
Experimental study on seismic performance of composite-reinforced square timber columns

Abstract
To enhance the load-bearing capacity and seismic performance of timber columns in wood-structured buildings,this study proposes a composite reinforcement method using near-surface mounted steel bars and externally wrapped carbon fiber reinforced polymer(CFRP)sheets.Low-cycle repeated loading tests were conducted on eight square timber columns to investigate the effects of different reinforcement methods,varying amounts of steel bars,and CFRP reinforcement on seismic performance.The study evaluates the seismic behavior of the composite-reinforced square timber columns based on test observations,failure modes,lateral bearing capacity,hysteretic behavior,ductility,stiffness and strength degradation,and energy dissipation capacity.The results indicate that,compared to unreinforced timber columns,the lateral bearing capacity and energy dissipation capacity of columns reinforced solely with embedded steel bars increased by 46%and 74%,respectively.The external CFRP wrapping effectively restricted lateral strain in the timber and limited the outward bulging of the embedded steel bars,thereby improving ductility and mitigating stiffness degradation in square timber columns.Furthermore,the composite reinforcement method achieved a maximum increase of 62%in lateral bearing capacity and 181%in energy dissipation capacity,while also enhancing stiffness and strength retention,demonstrating a significant improvement in seismic performance.关键词
