高管财务背景与企业绿色创新关系研究
Research on the coupling relationship between financial background and enterprise green innovation

Abstract
Executives play a pivotal role within firms,exerting a substantial influence on corporate development.Existing research on the relationship between executives and corporate green innovation primarily focuses on factors such as gender and age.Analyzing this relationship from the perspective of executive background can provide a valuable supplement to existing studies.This paper examines the correlation between executives'financial backgrounds and corporate green innovation using a sample of Chinese A-share listed companies from 2012 to 2021.The results indicate a significant negative correlation between the executives'financial backgrounds and corporate green innovation.Additionally,board characteristics serve as moderating factors:with board size exhibiting a significant positive moderating effect on the negative relationship,whereas the dual role of the CEO and board chair negatively moderates it.Furthermore,the inhibitory effect is more pronounced in state-owned and large enterprises compared to non-state-owned and smaller firms.关键词
