Influence of family participatory hospice care on pain mediator levels,self-perceived burden,and quality of life in patients with lung cancer

Abstract
Objective:To analyze the influence of family participatory hospice care on pain mediators levels,self-perceived burden,and quality of life in patients with lung cancer.Methods:A total of 120 patients with cancer pain admitted to Shanxi Provincial People's Hospital from March 2021 to March 2023 were selected as the research subjects,they were divided into control group and observation group using a lottery method,with 60 cases in each group.The control group received routine care,while the observation group received family participatory hospice care.Pain mediators levels,self-perceived burden,psychological state,and quality of life of the two groups were compared.Results:After intervention,the levels of SP,PGE2,and DA in the observation group were lower than those in the control group.The scores of family/economic burden,treatment burden,care burden,and emotional burden were higher than those in control group.The scores of physiological status,social/family status,emotional status,and functional status were all high compared to the control group.The scores of the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)were lower than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:Family participatory hospice care could reduce the pain level and self-perceived burden of lung cancer patients,improve their psychological state and quality of life.关键词
