Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of tongue acupuncture combined with swallowing rehabilitation training in the treatment of elderly patients with dysphagia after stroke.Methods:A total of 80 elderly patients with dysphagia after stroke treated in Linyi Central Hospital from February 2022 to March 2024 were selected as the study objects,and were divided into control group and study group by random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.The control group was treated with swallowing rehabilitation training,and the study group was treated with tongue acupuncture combined with swallowing rehabilitation training.Both groups were treated for 4 weeks.The scores of traditional Chinese medicine symptoms,swallowing function,occurrence of adverse events and quality of life were compared between the two groups.Results:After treatment,the scores of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome of the study group were lower than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of Water Swallowing Test and Standard Swallowing Assessment Scale in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the scores of Videofluoroscopic Swallowing Study were higher than those in the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse events in the study group was 7.50%compared with 12.50%in the control group,with no significant difference(P>0.05).After treatment,the scores of Swallowing Quality of Life Scale in both groups were higher than those before treatment,and those of the study group was higher than those of the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:Tongue acupuncture combined with swallowing rehabilitation training can improve the swallowing function,relieve the symptoms,reduce the occurrence of adverse events,high safety,help to improve the quality of life of patients,and have certain application value.关键词
