摘要

Abstract

Ammonia is an important hydrogen carrier,and its decomposition can release stored hydrogen energy.In order to meet the current industrial demands for high hydrogen production rates and cost-effective catalysts in the ammonia decomposi-tion process,this study utilized Ni(NO3)2·6H2O,Fe(NO3)3·9H2O,and γ-Al2O3 as raw materials to prepare various nickel-based catalysts for ammonia decomposition via impregnation method.The study investigated the effect of directed cata-lytic decomposition of ammonia for hydrogen production under different conditions,and characterized the catalysts'structures using single-point BET,SEM,TEM,XRD,and H2-TPR techniques.The results show that the Ni-Fe/Al2O3 catalyst with the heating temperature of 500℃and the precursor solution concentration of 20%has the largest Ni dispersion and the high-est catalytic activity.When the flow rate of NH3+N2 mixer was controlled at 40+200 mL/min and the reaction temperature was 600℃,the ammonia conversion rate of the material was 91.3%.
