Abstract
During the operation of the blast furnace material chute,its eccentric shaft broke.The rea-sons for the failure of the eccentric shaft of the chute were analyzed through methods such as composition analysis,mechanical property testing,macroscopic and microscopic metallographic observation,and scan-ning electron microscopy analysis.The results indicate that the fracture mode of the eccentric shaft is rota-tional fatigue fracture,and the fracture is located at the stress concentration site of the R-angle of the shaft.Abnormal furnace conditions during operation result in reverse airflow impacting the eccentric shaft and causing shear deformation.The high temperature environment on the furnace top leads to a weakening of the mechanical properties of the eccentric shaft material.When the resistance of the material is lower than the impact force formed by the reverse airflow at a certain critical temperature,the eccentric shaft un-dergoes shear fracture.关键词
