Abstract

With the continuous growth of energy demand,oil and gas search in deep strata of the Paleozoic and below has become a new way to continuously increase production,and the Ucha-Artushi structure belt is one of the key blocks of Tarim oil and gas exploration.The underground structure in this area is complex and is affected by many factors such as topography and surface conditions,resulting in limited resolution of deep seismic data.The time-frequency electromagnetic method has the advantages of large exploration depth,high signal-to-noise ratio,and is not affected by surface conditions.This paper discusses the applicability of the constrained time-frequency electromagnetic method in Late Paleozoic oil and gas exploration in this region.Time-frequency electromagnetic data were selected for this area.The electrical marker layer was clarified according to the electrical logging data,the restraint model was constructed,and the resistivity and polarizability profiles were obtained by inversion.The contour contours and top surface structure maps of the Late Paleozoic strata were drawn according to the above sections.Then,using the polarizability profile as a reference,a favorable area for oil and gas was identified.The results show that the Ucha-Artushi tectonic belt is controlled by the basement induction fault F1,and has the tectonic characteristics of thrust shingles and deep vertical stacking on both sides of the fault,respectively.The top interface of the Late Paleozoic is bounded by F1,which has the distribution characteristics of high in the north west and low in the south and east.A high polarizability anomaly was found at a depth of 5.42 km in the lower wall of F1,which was judged to be a favorable area verified in the subsequent drilling data.
