New-quality Productivity Enabling Agricultural and Rural Modernization:Theory and Empirical Study

Abstract
On the basis of the theoretical elaboration of the relationship between new-quality productivity and agricultural and rural modernization,this paper takes the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2013 to 2022 as samples and empirically examines the effect and mechanism of new-quality productivity on agricultural and rural modernization by using dynamic SYS-GMM,mediating effect and moderating effect models.The results go as the following:The new-quality productivity can sig-nificantly and continuously enable the agricultural and rural modernization,and the conclusion is still valid after a series of robust-ness tests.Factor allocation efficiency,industrial structure upgrading and balanced public services are effective mechanisms for new-quality productivity to promote the agricultural and rural modernization.The effect of the new-quality productivity empower-ing the agricultural and rural modernization is positively regulated by the integration of rural industries.Therefore,it is essential to actively promote the development of new-quality productivity,gradually enhance the efficiency of factor allocation,industrial structure upgrading,and balanced public services,effectively foster the integration of rural industries,and facilitate the empower-ment of new-quality productivity in the development of agriculture and rural modernization through multiple channels.关键词
