Abstract
Objective To investigate the application effect of orthokeratology combined with low concentration Atropine in the control of myopia progression in adolescents.Methods A total of 120 adolescent patients with myopia who were admitted to Clear Eye Hospital(Rugao)from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected and divided into two groups by random number table method.The observation group(60 cases)received orthokeratography combined with 0.01%low concentration Atropine,and the control group(60 cases)received orthokeratology.The myopia degree,axial length,naked eye visual acuity,total effective rate and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results After 12 months of treatment,the myopia degree and axial length of eye in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the naked eye visual acuity was better than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the total effective rate of the observation group was higher,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no serious adverse reactions in both groups,and 5 cases(8.33%)in the observation group had mild eye irritation symptoms,which disappeared after adjusting the infusion time.In the control group,3 cases(5.00%)had discomfort,and the symptoms were relieved after adjusting the lenses.Conclusion Orthokeratology combined with low concentration Atropine has a good effect on controlling myopia progression in adolescents,and can slow down the growth of ocular axis and the increase of myopia degree.关键词
