Abstract
Objective To analyze the clinical effect of Montelukast Sodium combined with Budesonide aerosol inhalation in the treatment of children with community-acquired pneumonia.Methods A total of 160 children with community-acquired pneumonia admitted to Huacheng Community Health Service Center in Huadu District,Guangzhou City from January 2023 to January 2024 were selected as the research objects.Using the random number table method,these children were divided into the observation group(n=80)and the control group(n=80).The control group received Budesonide aerosol inhalation treatment,while the observation group received Montelukast Sodium combined with Budesonide aerosol inhalation.The total effective rate of treatment,the levels of inflammatory factors,disappearance time of clinical symptoms,and total incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups were compared.Results Compared with the control group,the total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of interleukin-6(IL-6),procalcitonin(PCT),and C-reactive protein(CRP)in both groups decreased compared to those before treatment,and the levels of IL-6,PCT,and CPR in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The disappearance time of fever,cough,wheezing,and lung rales in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Montelukast Sodium combined with Budesonide aerosol inhalation has a definite effect in the treatment of children with community-acquired pneumonia,which can effectively alleviate clinical symptoms and reduce inflammatory reactions,and is worthy of clinical promotion.关键词
