Digital Service Trade Opening and Upgrading of the Global Value Chain of China's High-tech Manufacturing Industry

Abstract
The opening-up in digital service trade is not only an important measure to enable the high-quality development of trade,but also the core of promoting the upgrading of the global value chain of high-tech manufacturing industry.Based on the data of A-share listed high-tech manufacturing companies from 2012 to 2022,this paper uses multiple linear regression model and intermediary effect model to study the relationship between the opening-up of digital service trade and the upgrading of the global value chain of high-tech manufacturing.The research results show that the digital service trade opening-up can effectively promote the upgrading of the global value chain of high-tech manufacturing.The transmission mechanism test reveals that the opening-up in digital service trade can increase innovation output and innovation input at the innovation level and promote the ra-tionalization of industrial structure and the upgrading of industrial structure at the industrial level,and then enable the upgrading of the global value chain of high-tech manufacturing.Heterogeneity analysis results show that in the capital-intensive and highly integrated samples,the opening-up in digital service trade has a more significant promoting effect on the upgrading of the global value chain of high-tech manufacturing.Further tests show that the opening-up in digital service trade has a sustained impact on the upgrading of the global value chain of China's high-tech manufacturing industry.关键词
