Abstract
Objective:To analyze the efficacy of balloon angioplasty combined with stent placement in iliac vein compression syndrome.Method:A retrospective analysis was conducted on 106 patients with iliac vein compression syndrome treated at Fuzhou Fifth Hospital from January 2022 to May 2023.Patients were divided into two groups based on different surgical methods:the dilation group(n=43)underwent balloon angioplasty alone,while the combined group(n=63)underwent balloon angioplasty combined with stent placement.The two groups were compared in terms of the rates of swelling and pain relief,venous clinical severity score(VCSS),and incidence of complications.Result:Comparison of swelling relief rate and pain relief rate at 3 months postoperatively between the combined group and the dilation group,the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in preoperative VCSS between the combined group and the dilation group(P>0.05).However,the VCSS at 12 months postoperatively in both groups were lower than preoperative levels,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Additionally,the VCSS at 12 months postoperatively was lower in the combined group compared to the dilation group[(6.02±2.02)points vs(6.98±2.54)points],with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The overall incidence of complications in the combined group was lower than that in the dilation group(0 vs 13.95%),with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:Compared with balloon angioplasty alone,balloon angioplasty combined with stent placement in the treatment of iliac vein compression syndrome has lower VCSS at 12 months postoperatively and a lower overall incidence of complications.There are no significant differences in rates of postoperative swelling relief and pain relief in two groups.关键词
