Abstract
Objective:To analyze the changes of serum insulin-like growth factor-2(IGF-2)levels in patients with schizophrenia and its relationship with clinical features.Method:A total of 40 patients with schizophrenia admitted to the Psychiatric Department of Jiangxi Mental Hospital from January 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the study group,and 40 patients who underwent medical examination were selected as the control group.According to the average level of IGF-2,the patients in the study group were divided into a high level of IGF-2 group(24 cases)and a low level of IGF-2 group(16 cases).The cognitive function and IGF-2 of the study group and the control group were compared,and the mental symptoms and cognitive function of the high level IGF-2 group and the low level IGF-2 group were compared,and the correlation between IGF-2 level and the mental symptoms and cognitive function of schizophrenia patients was analyzed.Result:Trail making test A(TMTA)in study group was higher than that in control group,IGF-2 level,digit symbol coding test(DSCT),continuous performance test(CPT),total number of words,total number of colors,total number of colors/words in the Stroop color word test(SCWT)were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).Positive symptom score,negative symptom score,total score,general psychopathological score of positive and negative syndrome scale(PANSS)and TMTA in low level group were higher than those in high level group,while DSCT,CPT,total number of words,total number of colors and total number of colors/words of SCWT in low level group were lower than those in high level group(P<0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that IGF-2 level was negatively correlated with negative symptom score(r=-0.351,P=0.013).There was no significant correlation between IGF-2 level and DSCT and TMTA(P>0.05),but IGF-2 level was positively correlated with CPT and total number of words,total number of colors,and total number of colors/words in SCWT(r=0.361,0.306,0.324,0.339,P=0.008,0.029,0.027,0.015).Conclusion:Serum IGF-2 level is correlated with PANSS negative symptoms,CPT and total number of words,total number of colors,and total number of colors/words in SCWT in patients with schizophrenia.关键词
