Abstract
Objective:To analyze the impact of Guipi Mixture in combination with Sitagliptin Phosphate Tablets on the blood glucose levels of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients.Method:A total of 80 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who were treated in the Department of Endocrinology of Shangrao Municipal Hospital from February 2021 to February 2024 were selected and divided into Sitagliptin group(Sitagliptin Phosphate Tablets alone)and combined medication group(Guipi Mixture combined with Sitagliptin Phosphate Tablets)by random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.Both groups were treated for 3 months.TCM symptom score,blood glucose index level,insulin function and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Result:After treatment,the scores of traditional Chinese medicine symptoms such as body obesity,polydipsia,stool diarrhea and limb drowsiness decreased in both groups,and those in combined medication group were lower than those in Sitagliptin group,the differences were statistical significance(P<0.05).After treatment,fasting plasma glucose(FPG)level,postprandial 2-hour plasma glucose(2 h PG)level and glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c)level were all decreased in both groups,and those of combined medication group were lower than those of Sitagliptin group,the differences were statistical significance(P<0.05).After treatment,fasting insulin(FINS)level and insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR)were decreased in both groups,and those of the combined medication group were lower than those of Sitagliptin group,the differences were statistical significance(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reaction in the combined medication group(5.00%)was not statistically significantly different compared to the Sitagliptin group(10.00%)(P>0.05).Conclusion:The combination of Guipi Mixture and Sitagliptin Phosphate Tablets can effectively improve the traditional Chinese medicine symptoms and correct the patients'glucose metabolism disorder in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus,as well as improve pancreatic function,with a certain level of medication safety.关键词
