Medication Rules of Traditional Chinese Medicine Compound Patent in the Treatment of Gout Based on Data Mining

Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To analyze the traditional Chinese medicine compound patent in the treatment of gout based on data mining,and explore the medication compatibility characteristics and formula rules.METHODS:Traditional Chinese medicine compound patent formulas in the treatment of gout from the Chinese Patent Database were retrieved from Sept.10th,1985 to Mar.1st,2024.The Ancient and Modern Medical Case Cloud Platform(V2.3.7)and SPSS Statistics 26.0 software were used to perform drug frequency and flavor meridian analysis,association rule analysis,systematic clustering analysis,and complex network analysis on the traditional Chinese medicine compound patent that meet the inclusion criteria.RESULTS:A total of 558 traditional Chinese medicine compound formulas were enrolled,including 383 traditional Chinese medicines.The high-frequency drugs were respectively Achyranthis bidentatae radix,Phellodendri chinrnsis cortex,licorice,Atractylodes lancea,Coicis semen and Smilacis glabrae rhixoma.The most common medicinal properties were warm,followed by mild and cold.The most common medicinal flavor was sweet,followed by bitter and spicy.The most common meridian was the liver meridian,followed by the spleen meridian,and kidney meridian.The association rule analysis showed that the combination of Atractylodes lancea-Phellodendri chinrnsis cortex had the highest support and confidence,with Achyranthis bidentatae radix as the core drug.The drug combination obtained from cluster analysis included Phellodendri chinrnsis cortex,Atractylodes lancea,Achyranthis bidentatae radix,Coicis semen,Smilacis glabrae rhixoma,Dioscorea hypoglauca,Stephaniae tetrandrae radix,Poria cocos,Gentiana Macrophylla Pall,and Alisma Orientale.Complex network analysis revealed the core drug composition Atractylodes lancea,Phellodendri chinrnsis cortex,Coicis semen,Chyranthis bidentatae radix,Dioscorea hypoglauca,Smilacis Glabrae Rhixoma,Radix Clematidis,Angelicae Sinensis Radix,Radix Paeoniae Rubra and licorice.CONCLUSIONS:Traditional Chinese medicine compound patent in the treatment of gout focuses on the basic pathogenesis of"damp heat,blood stasis,and toxin".The basic treatment methods include clearing heat and dampness,promoting blood circulation and detoxification,and can be combined with methods such as dispelling dampness,removing blood stasis and unblocking collaterals,strengthening spleen and Qi,and nourishing liver and kidney.Emphasis is placed on the coordination of spleen,kidney,and liver,and commonly used formulas are respectively Simiaosan,Wulingsan,Huangqi Chifeng Tang,and Buyang Huanwu decoction,which can provide new ideas for the clinical treatment and new drug development.关键词
