Abstract

In the wave of artificial intelligence technology,advanced language models repre-sented by ChatGPT are leading the profound changes in the field of education.Traditional Pharmacol-ogy Theory teaching faces many challenges,including single teaching methods,outdated teaching content,disconnection from clinical practice,and the neglect of individual differences among students.The introduction of ChatGPT has brought unprecedented opportunities for Pharmacology Theory teaching,but it has also been accompanied by a series of challenges.ChatGPT,with its powerful natu-ral language processing capabilities and massive knowledge base,can provide students with richer and more vivid learning materials,enhancing the fun and interactivity of learning.At the same time,Chat-GPT can provide personalized learning advice and resource recommendations based on students'learning situations and needs,promoting students'learning initiative and self-directed learning ability.However,ChatGPT may also have limitations in its application,such as data bias,accuracy to be verified,and lack of human emotional communication.This article proposes corresponding counter-measures and suggestions to address these issues.Firstly,teachers should actively learn and master ar-tificial intelligence technologies such as ChatGPT,integrate them into Pharmacology Theory teach-ing,and innovate teaching methods and tools.Secondly,schools and educational institutions should increase their input in the teaching resources of Pharmacology,update textbook content in a timely manner,and introduce more cases and teaching resources that are combined with actual clinical prac-tice.At the same time,a comprehensive teaching evaluation system should be established to objec-tively evaluate the application effect of ChatGPT in Pharmacology teaching.Finally,the government and all sectors of society should strengthen supervision and support for the application of artificial intel-ligence technology in the field of education,promote the deep integration and development of artificial intelligence technology with education and teaching,so as to promote the full application of ChatGPT in Pharmacology Theory teaching,thereby improving the quality of Pharmacology Theory teaching.
