Application progress of artificial intelligence in the diagnosis of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder

Abstract
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD)is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by persistent inattention,hyperactivity,and impulsive behavior,affecting approximately 5%of children globally.In recent years,the application of artificial intelligence(AI)in ADHD diagno-sis has shown significant potential.By integrating multimodal data such as electroencephalography(EEG),magnetic resonance imaging(MRI),virtual reality(VR),and behavioral characteristics,AI-driven machine learning models can extract critical features from large datasets,thereby improving di-agnostic accuracy and efficiency.Particularly in the fields of neuroimaging,EEG signal analysis,and behavioral data processing,deep learning models demonstrate outstanding classification performance,effectively distinguishing ADHD patients from healthy individuals.Additionally,when combined with patients'social profiles and VR-generated behavioral data,AI technology further optimizes ADHD diagnostic procedures,providing robust decision support for clinical assessments.In the future,with improvements in data quality,multimodal integration,and the development of interpretable AI mod-els,AI holds promising potential in the early screening and prediction of ADHD,ultimately enhanc-ing patient quality of life and clinical diagnostic outcomes.关键词
