Function mechanism of irisin as a motion factor in the improvement of cognitive impairment in Alzheimer's disease
摘要
Abstract
With the acceleration of global population aging,Alzheimer's disease(AD)has become one of the major public health problems that endanger the health of the elderly in China and even the whole world,and there is no effective treatment now.Irisin is a hormone related to motion,which plays an important function in regulating inflammatory response,oxidative stress and synaptic plasticity in hippocampus.The function mechanism of irisin as a motion factor in the improvement of cognitive impairment in AD is described in this review.Irisin enhances learning and memory ability by up-regulating neurotrophic factors,inhibiting oxidative stress and neuroinflammation,improving blood-brain barrier function and reducing neuron death.关键词
