热敏灸治疗干眼的疗效观察
Observation on the Therapeutic Effect of Heat-sensitive Moxibustion in Treating Dry Eye

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To observe the clinical efficacy of heat-sensitive moxibustion in the treatment of dry eye.METHODS A total of 64 patients(64 eyes)with dry eye syndrome diagnosed and treated at Guangdong Provincial Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital from August 2023 to October 2023 were enrolled,and all were classified as having liver-kidney Yin deficiency syndrome.For patients with bilateral eyes involvement,the eye with a shorter fluorescein break-up time(FBUT)or a shorter SchirmerⅠ test(SⅠT)was enrolled.If both eyes had equal severity,the right eye was enrolled.They were randomly divided into control group(CG)and observation group(OG),32 cases(32 eyes)in each group.The control group received health education combined with 0.1%sodium hyaluronate eye drops,while the treatment group received health education combined with heat-sensitive moxibustion.Both groups were treated for 30 days.Before and after treatment,the FBUT,fluorescent staining(FL)positive rate,SⅠT,and ocular symptom scores were measured for each subject.RESULTS(1)FBUT:After treatment,the FBUT was prolonged in both groups compared with before treatment,with statistically significant differences(tCG=4.320,tOG=5.090,both P=0.000).Comparison between the two groups after treatment showed that the FBUT in the observation group was longer than that in the control group,with a statistically significant difference(t=2.627,P=0.011).(2)FL positive rate:There was no statistically significant difference in the FL positive rate between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,FL staining was negative in both groups.(3)SⅠT:After treatment,SⅠT was lower in both groups compared with before treatment,with statistically significant differences(tCG=12.782,tOG=19.094,both P=0.000).Comparison between the two groups after treatment showed that SⅠT in the observation group was longer than that in the control group,with a statistically significant difference(t=4.983,P=0.000).(4)Ocular symptom scores:After treatment,the scores for eye fatigue(tCG=4.877,tOG=5.951,both P=0.000),foreign body sensation(tCG=2.641,P=0.010;tOG=5.453,P=0.000),dryness(tCG=8.004,tOG=5.719,both P=0.000),burning sensation(tCG=2.865,P=0.006;tOG=3.084,P=0.003),eye swelling(tCG=4.037,tOG=5.147,both P=0.000),eye pain(tCG=4.361,tOG=4.460,both P=0.000),photophobia(tCG=4.950,tOG=4.997,both P=0.000),and eye redness(tCG=4.416,tOG=3.944,both P=0.000)were all lower in both groups compared with before treatment,with statistically significant differences.Comparison of the difference in foreign body sensation scores between the two groups after treatment showed that the observation group had higher scores than the control group,with a statistically significant difference(t=2.452,P=0.017).Comparisons among the remaining groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05).(5)Clinical efficacy:The total effective rate in the observation group was 78.1%,higher than the 53.1%in the control group,with a statistically significant difference(χ2=4.433,P=0.035).CONCLUSIONS Heat-sensitive moxibustion for the treatment of dry eye syndrome with liver-kidney Yin deficiency syndrome can prolong the FBUT,increase tear production,reduce ocular symptom scores,especially alleviate foreign body sensation,improve tear film stability,and alleviate clinical symptoms in patients with dry eye syndrome.关键词
