Medication Patterns of Chinese Medical Decoctions for the Treatment of Vitreous Hemorrhage Based on Data Mining

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To analyze the medication patterns of Chinese medical decoctions for the treatment of vitreous hemorrhage based on data mining.METHODS Literature on the treatment of vitreous hemorrhage with oral Chinese medical decoctions from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),Wanfang Data,and VIP databases from January 1st,2000,to December 31st,2023,was included.The included Chinese medicines were entered into Microsoft Excel 2019 software.After standardizing the names,the Chinese medicines were classified by efficacy,and their usage frequency and attributes were counted.SPSS Modeler 18.0 was used for association rule analysis,and IBM SPSS Statistics 26 was used for cluster analysis.RESULTS(1)General information:A total of 116 articles were included,involving 136 Chinese medicines and 176 prescriptions,with a cumulative usage frequency of 1,949 times.(2)Classi-fication of Chinese medicines by efficacy:The top five most frequently used medicines by efficacy were those for promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis,clearing heat,tonifying deficiencies,stopping bleeding,and resolving exterior syndromes.(3)Usage frequency of Chinese medicines:There were 26 Chinese medicines with a usage frequency of≥20 times(high-frequency Chinese medicines),with the top five being Rehmannia glutinosa libosch,Chuanxiong rhizoma,Radix paeoniae rubra,Angelica sinensis,and Salviae miltiorrhizae radix et rhizoma in descending order.(4)Attributes of Chinese medicines:The most common four Qi attribute was cold,the most common five taste attribute was bitter,and the most common meridian tropism was liver meridian.(5)Association rules of Chinese medicines:The top five most highly associated medicines were Chuanxiong Rhizoma-Rehmannia glutinosa libosch,Radix paeoniae rubra-Rehmannia glutinosa libosch,Salviae miltiorrhizae radix et rhizoma-Rehmannia glutinosa libosch,Flos carthami-Semen persicae,and Flos carthami-Angelica sinensis.(6)Cluster analysis of high-frequency Chinese medicines:Four types of prescriptions can be obtained,whose effects are respectively promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis(class Ⅰ),nourishing Yin and reducing fire(class Ⅱ),dispersing blood stasis(class Ⅲ),clearing heat and cooling blood(class Ⅳ).CONCLUSIONS Chinese medicines for the treatment of vitreous hemorrhage mainly focuses on promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis,tonifying Qi and blood,and cooling blood to stop bleeding.关键词
