Abstract

The spatial and temporal nonlinearity of extreme rainstorms and the spatial heterogeneity of the urban subsurface have led to the complexity of urban flooding mechanisms,and the identification of flood-prone zones of ex-treme rainstorms in megacities has always been a difficult problem that needs to be solved urgently.Traditional methods quantify the flooding impact indicators from a multi-factor perspective,lacking hydrodynamic and multi-source data support.Currently,the three urban defense commands are mainly based on urban construction design and planning and historical flooding disasters to identify flood-prone areas and high-risk zones.The rapid changes in the develop-ment pattern of megacities and the complexity of elements,as well as the lack of historical disaster data in newly built urban areas,have led to inaccurate identification of flood-prone areas.In this paper,on the basis of summarizing the flooding mechanism and influencing factors in megacities,a method for identifying flood-prone areas in megacities with extreme rainstorms is developed based on the fusion of multi-source information,carrying out real-time simula-tion of yield and sink flow and assessment of drainage capacity from the layers of multi-source data,model mechanism,model parameters,and simulation computation.The identification of flood-prone areas at a large scale is realized,which helps the three defense departments at all levels to make emergency preparations in advance and proactively re-spond to extreme scenarios of urban flooding.
