Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effects of Yiqi Guben decoction combined with budesonide suspension for inhalation nebulization inhalation on airway inflammation and airway remodeling in children with asthma.Methods:A total of 84 children with asthma,admitted to the hospital from April 2021 to February 2023,were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group by random number table method,with 42 patients in each group.The control group received budesonide suspension for inhalation nebulized inhalation therapy,while the observation group received Yiqi Guben decoction on the basis of the control group,with both groups treated for 14 days.The traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores,airway inflammation indicators[interleukin-33(IL-33),interleukin-17(IL-17),interleukin-10(IL-10)],airway remodeling indicators[transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1),nuclear factor-κB(NF-κB),osteopontin(OPN)],pulmonary function parameters[forced vital capacity(FVC),forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV1),FEV1/FVC],symptom resolution time,length of hospital stay and clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups.Results:After treatment,the syndrome scores and total scores for dry throat itch,cough,phlegm,chest tightness and acute qi were decreased in both groups(P<0.05),with the observation group showing significant lower scores than the control group(P<0.05).The levels of IL-33,IL-17,TGF-β1,NF-κB and OPN were decreased in both groups(P<0.05),with the observation group exhibiting significantly lower levels than the control group(P<0.05).IL-10 level was increased in both groups(P<0.05),with the observation group showing significantly higher levels than the control group(P<0.05).FVC,FEV1 and FEV1/FVC were increased in both groups(P<0.05),with the observation group demonstrating significantly higher values than the control group(P<0.05).The recovery time of wheezing,cough,rales,asthma,as well as the length of hospital stay,were shorter in the observation group compared to the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate in the observation group(92.86%)was significantly higher than that in the control group(73.81%,P<0.05).Conclusion:Yiqi Guben decoction combined with budesonide suspension for inhalation nebulization inhalation demonstrates significant clinical efficacy in the treatment of children with asthma.It can effectively enhances the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,ameliorates airway remodeling and lung function,reduces airway inflammation and shortens the duration of symptom.关键词
