Abstract
Objective:To analyze the clinical efficacy and safety of azithromycin combined with interferon nebulization in the treatment of children with pertussis-like syndrome(PLS).Methods:Eighty children with PLS visiting the hospital from October 2021 to February 2022 were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group.The observation group was treated with azithromycin combined with interferon nebulization,while the control group was treated with interferon nebulization alone.The clinical efficacy and serological indexes were compared between the two groups.The adverse reactions were observed.Results:After treatment,there were significant differences in the duration of spastic cough,time to disappearance of pulmonary rales and the total length of hospital stay between the two groups(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the frequency of reddening of the face,general data and serological indexes(P>0.05);there were no adverse reactions in the two groups.Conclusion:Azithromycin combined with interferon nebulization therapy for PLS not only significantly improved the main clinical symptoms of children,such as shortening the duration of spasmodic cough and disappearance of pulmonary rales,but also reduced the total length of hospital stay,thereby reducing the pain of children and the economic burden on families,and has important clinical application value.关键词
