Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Fufang Xiangru Shui in the treatment of influenza and influenza-like cases complicated with gastrointestinal symptoms.Methods:A total of 240 influenza and influenza-like patients complicated with gastrointestinal symptoms treated in a community health service center from June 2023 to August 2024 were selected and assigned to the control group(1 loss to follow-up,n=119)and the observation group(1 loss to follow-up,n=119)by random number table method.The control group was treated with Huoxiang Zhengqi oral liquid,and the observation group was treated with Fufang Xiangru Shui.Both groups were treated continuously for 5 days.The time to clinical recovery,time to complete defervescence,traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)symptom score,TCM syndrome efficacy,incidence of complications,concomitant medication and treatment safety were compared between the two groups,and subgroup analysis was conducted for the patients using Huoxiang Zhengqi oral liquid and Fufang Xiangru Shui alone.Results:After treatment,the average time to recovery and average time to complete defervescence in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group(P<0.001).The scores for primary symptoms and secondary symptoms were decreased in both groups(P<0.05),and the observation group showed superior improvement in fever,cough and lethargy compared to the control group(P<0.05).The clinical recovery rate of observation group(74.79%)was higher than that of control group(63.87%,P<0.05).There were no complications observed in both groups.There was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of adverse events between the two groups(P=0.06),and no serious adverse events occurred in either group.There was no statistically significant difference in the overall proportion of concomitant medications and the comparison of each concomitant medication between the two groups(P>0.05).The subgroup analysis showed that the subgroup receiving Fufang Xiangru Shui alone was superior to the subgroup receiving Huoxiang Zhengqi oral liquid alone in terms of the average time to recovery,average time to complete defervescence and improvement in TCM syndrome scores.Conclusion:Fufang Xiangru Shui can effectively relieve the clinical symptoms of influenza and influenza-like patients complicated with gastrointestinal symptoms,the treatment effect is better,and the safety is good.关键词
